Fresh off the heels of his November album, Where were you in '92 (which he recorded using old-school gear, including an Atari and Akai sampler), Zomby, a dubstep master among many things, makes his debut appearance in SF. He's obssessed with UK jungle and breakbeat hardcore from the early 90's, and his sets have been known to contain many obscure UK hardcore classics. He's had demos appear on MaryAnne Hobbs' Breezeblock, and his tracks are being played by DJs including Skream, Kode9, Laurent Garnier, Sinden, Drop the Lime, and more. Zomby has EPs forthcoming on Diplo's Mad Decent label and the UK's esteemed Warp Records, and recently just released an EP on Kode 9's groundbreaking dubstep label Hyperdub.
